When you think of the Microsoft’s auto-related technologies, the first thing that comes to our mind is SYNC. This is perfectly reasonable, since it is the only place Microsoft has made any significant impact on the automobile scene. SYNC is just Ford’s version of Microsoft’s Windows Embedded Technologies. Ford and Microsoft ended their exclusive contract at the end of 2008. In May 2008, Microsoft said that it will team up with Hyundai/Kia to develop a voice-controlled system for the North American market. (more)

Here at DevConnections I just attended the ScottGu’s keynote on Visual Studio 2010 and Web development. I haven’t had much time to spend on the latest Beta of Visual Studio 2010 yet so I found most of the information quite helpful and interesting. It looks like Microsoft is finally coding some good functionalities from ReSharper and .NET Reflector inside of Visual Studio 2010.
